We came back tonight to finish the Military Quarter and give Sapphiron a try. We ended up steam-rolling the military quarter (except for that one triple-pat-pull with the added shade, my bad) and then stomping Sapphiron pretty easily. We two shot the icey-dragon, but it only took two tries because he ice-blocked two people that were ridiculously far away from half the raid because we weren’t moving in tandem. Anyway, the second time we killed him with ease (really, it was easy).

Then Kel’Thuzad. This guy is a pain. We had to swap our awesome DK, Ashaba with his druid, Feldegast, in order to clear up the melee area and get some backup heals for ice-blocks. Melee frost blasts were chaining four or so people into ice blocks and there’s just no way our healers could have covered it. We wiped a few times and put in two *really* solid hours. 19 minutes before we were scheduled to call it, we gave it one last try and ended up pulling off a win. Clicky for bigger screen cap.

Well, it looks like we may not be getting together for this after all :/ My mom has been moving over the last few days and we took a load with the truck tonight and I completely forgot about the calender event that I created; I hope none of you waited for me

On another note, I think we should get some kind of forum for random posts like this. All in favor say “Aye”.

First off we have Homestar runner. Strong bad ftw!  This is required viewing for all guild members.   And the second randomness is my discovery of the truth behind turkeys and chickens.  Turkeys are male chickens and chickens are female turkeys =p  Same species different name/gender.  It has to be so as we don’t eat roosters, in fact the rooster must be a lie.  The rooster is a clever ploy devised to keep us unawares of the truth behind turkeys and chickens.   Umm…… yeah…….. anyway….

Hi all I’ve been photo documenting my way across Northrend and I got some screenshots uploaded. Instead of using our handy screenshots page (which turns out to be not all that handy for bulk uploading), I started another account with Google specifically for these web albums. I use their Picasa program to find, organize, upload and sync photos to my web albums. It’s sort of like iTunes for images. As it is, it’s somewhat time consuming to get any images up, partially because I’m a perfection freak so I have to make sure everything is just right. I may see if I can find a Picasa plugin for wordpress.

Everything has been organized into albums by what zone, city or instance they were taken in. If you’re worried about spoilers, just don’t click on the album

New Screenshots

Just thought I’d throw in a quick post and screenshot from my first day of WotlK.  One of my favorite quest lines so far has been the harpooning action in Howling Fjord and I managed to grab a quick screen shot of the final quest of that quest line.  What a fun ride this is so far!!

So lot’s of shit has been going down in the game. Truthiness has been up to a bunch of stuff, including venturing back into Molton Core, Onyxia’s Lair, and participating in some wicked Lich King invasion stuff.
