Recommended Addons
This is the only addon that I would say is a must-have for anyone serious about raiding. I’m not going to say anything more about it, because the link will tell you just about everything you need to know and I’ve met very few people that don’t have it already.
This is also somewhat of a must-have. We don’t expect anyone to talk of course 
but it’s very helpful to be able to listen to boss strategies and whatnot vs. having someone type it out.
This mod is VERY helpful during raids. It will announce all special events during boss fights (ie - when someone gets turned into Red Riding Hood, Shade’s Flame Wreath, who is in Demon Chains during Illhoof, etc). Also if it is a timed event (Evocate, Blizzard) it will give you a timer bar for it. I also love this mod for PvP, as it gives timers for base caps in Alterac Valley and Arathi Basin.
HIGHLY recommended for anyone doing Arenas. It will populate an opponant party frame as soon as you mouse over the other team. No more trying to remember the 5 people that just flashed out of the other door, it will give you their Name, Class and Spec. In addition, it will send this info to anyone else using Arena Frames!
The Guildvault
There are very short probationary periods before new members will have access to the vault. Once you are given access, please treat the vault with respect and common sense. Take a few minutes to look through and see how everything is organized. Each profession should have at least it’s own 2 column section. Materials in the vault should be limited to what would be picked up in Northrend (ie - no wool cloth, tin ore, etc). Keep in mind that items in the vault are for sharing with everyone, so don’t put anything in that you don’t want to share.
About Food
The food in the guild vault especially is meant for everyone. We greatly appreciate any donations of either cooked or raw food. Someone goes through about once or twice a week to cook anything raw and clean out food that is not regularly used. Mizzy posts stacks of the lesser used foods in the AH once a week and all money made is deposited to the vault.
Gear Planner
We wrote up a utility to help coordinate everyone getting the gear they want. It’s main utility is that it helps us organize ten-man raids. We have more than ten people now, so not everyone can be in on the raids, however, we can organize the raid such that everyone gets substituted in for the particular boss or drop that you need. Once you are a member of Truthiness, Lolotov will create an account for you in the gear utility and then you will be able to add your relevant upgrades and keep your gear updated and organized.
Recruiting Policies
We are not an openly recruiting guild. I think I speak for all of us when I say that we would rather have a small guild of friends and not be able to raid anything on our own than have a large guild of douchebags. We do not have a level requirement, but we strongly prefer members close to 80. New member invitations must be approved by all guild members. No alts are allowed in the guild until 75, as we have two alt guilds provided for them, as well as the guild chat channel (this is for Truthiness members and their alts only). The alt guilds are mainly used for the vaults so we can all share low level mats (which is why we don’t want them in the Truthiness vault :D). If you would like to join one of our alt guilds, please speak with any member of Truthiness.
